The fresh bread is probably the best thing about the cafe.
- They made us a fresh batch of coffee (what I call North American coffee - on the weak side, but otherwise non-objectionable).
- Their menu consists of home-made soups, breads, and sandwiches.
- There's a choice of about 5 flavourful soups (crockpots on the counter right in the cafe keeping them warm), served with home-made bread lathered generously with butter (or some spread anyway). The soups seem a better bet than the chili.
- Or you can get one of a few delicious homey sandwiches.
- $5 for soup & bread; $10 for soup & sandwich
They apparently carry gluten-free and organic stuff, but you probably have to request these specially - they are not the default.
