Lake on the Mountain

PROVINCIAL PARK:

• View of Lake Ontario 200 ft below on one side, and Lake on the Mountain on the other side, with road in between.
• Parking lot next to Lake Ontario, and a few trees next to the other lake, as well as a few picnic benches on both sides.
• The rest of this Provincial Park is on the other side of Lake on the Mountain, so not accessible, it seems.
• Swimming seems possible in Lake on the Mountain, though not common.
• About 10 minutes drive from Picton, heading northeast on Loyalist Parkway.

RESTAURANT:

• A part of Lake on the Mountain Resort, which also offers a few cottages for rent.
• Has a patio with a nice view & breeze.
  
• They use interesting ingredients, and food is enjoyable.
• Beer brewed on the premises was available.
• Main course at lunch around $10 & at dinner around $20.
