- has movies & sometimes plays or concerts
- building has some sort of historical significance
- I believe the taxpayer money is what keeps it going over the long run

"The County", as it's referred to in the area, is a peninsula, or perhaps an island, in Lake Ontario, with 25,000 people. Its main town, Picton, has 5000 people and lies about 25 km south of the 401 between Kingston & Belleville. It's also mid-way between 2 large cities in Ontario, Toronto & Ottawa, about 2.5 hours from each. This website is about places in the county I've checked out since moving here in 2006.
